Full-time Compensation & Benefits Specialist - Novi, MI

Benefits Compansation Administrator HR Human Resources Employee Benefits Plans Programs Affordable Care Act HIPAA IRS regulations Section 125 COBRA FLSA Title VII _ .

Administer employee benefit plans, such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, flexible spending accounts and unemployment. Take responsibility for employee compensation structure, compensation databases, job descriptions, and benchmark compensation.

Compensation Related Responsibilities:

Conduct job and market analysis.

Develop salary recommendations for new hires and promotions

Maintain company salary structures.

Create compensation surveys and evaluate and analyze survey results to ensure the organization pay practices are fair, competitive, and aligned with current market trends.

Research, evaluate, and assign FLSA, job, and SOC classification.

Provide various compensation reports and analyses for business review and action.

Review and audit job description content.

Conduct monthly audits of all new hire, transfer, promotion, demotion, separation paperwork to ensure it is reflective of the data entered into the HRIS system.

Benefits Related Responsibilities:

Develop benefits plan designs and annual open enrollment processes, communications, and events.

Administer leave of absence programs and manage of third-party administrators.

Reconcile, approve, and ensure timely and accurate payment of benefits billing invoices.

Research discrepancies between enrollment and deductions.

Participate in accounting audits as it relates to benefits or compensation.

Maintain employee nbenefit record in the HRIS.

Support the benefit processes, vendor data feeds, reconciliations, and new hire enrollments.

Interact with employees and management regarding various benefit inquiries and issues.
