Job Description
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, plan organize and direct programs and activities, coordinate communications, budgets, and information to enhance and progress initiatives; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Pay Rate for this Job is $25/Hour
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)
Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise services and activities of initiative driven programs; assists in establishing program timelines and priorities; assures program activities comply with established standards, laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate communications, personnel, and information to assure smooth efficient program activities; assists in the development and implementation of program services, goals, objectives, plans, strategies, standards, projects, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of outreach and education activities to facilitate and enhance community knowledge of various health issues, measures, programs, services, goals, objectives and information; prepare and deliver oral presentations to community groups, agencies and the public to promote initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate programs and services for effectiveness and operational efficiency; provide recommendations concerning program effectiveness and the development and implementation of programs, services, and procedures to enhance effectiveness, operational efficiency, and capacity to meet Initiatives.
• Provide technical information and assistance to the Chief Executive Officer concerning programs, services, and related issues, needs and activities; assist in the formulation and development of policies, procedures, and programs; evaluate new and existing programs and determine feasibility, eligibility, and funding availability as directed.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, codes, rules, regulations, and pending legislation related to health initiatives; assist in modifying programs, functions and procedures to assure compliance with local, State, and Federal requirements as needed.
• Prepare and maintain records, reports, and files related to programs including but not limited to, grant documents, program service documents, financial activity, assigned duties; and prepare mandated reports in accordance with established timelines and requirements.
• Identify grants, prepare grant proposals, administer grants and prepare reports; prepare requests for proposal, review and rank proposals and participate in selection of recipients.
• Prepare and monitor program budgets; project income and expenditures, prepare required budget reports.
• Communicate with personnel, various outside agencies and the public to exchange information, coordinate activities, resolve issues or concerns; prepare, distribute, and respond to a variety of correspondence.
• Attend and conduct various meetings as assigned.

Qualifications

• Principles and practices of program management.
• Community organization services including services available.
• Program requirements for reimbursement of grants and billable hours.
• Technical aspect of program support.
• Basic budget preparation and control.
• Contract and grant preparation.
• Methods used to monitor, review, and audit grants and contracts.
• Laws, rules, and regulations relating to assigned activities.
• Principles and practices of supervision and training.
• Principles and practices of collective impact and collaborative frameworks and methodologies.
• Data collection and analysis concepts, technologies, systems, and techniques.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills that demonstrate tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Research methods and report writing techniques.
• Record keeping techniques.
• Health programs, operations and activities including the delivery of community services to prevent disease and promote health.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience performing professional research and analytical work in the private or public sector
• Associate degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience performing professional research and analytical work in the private or public sector.
• Background Check Required
