Amee Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and government industry leader is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our Team in Charleston, SC.



Position Responsibilities:

Supervise a core team in researching and analyzing available vendors who can meet US Military waterfront maintenance and material needs in support of company production efforts.
Apply a detailed knowledge of government purchasing requirements to ensure vendor recommendations, and company processes, are compliant with the FAR.
Coordinate team efforts to purchase materials and services, as directed by the government and company program managers.
Coordinate the team’s efforts in scheduling, supervising and delivering contracted materials and services to U.S. Military waterfront repair organizations and company facilities.
Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that vendors and suppliers comply with the terms and conditions of the contract and to determine the need for changes.
Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product/vendor performance, and inventories.
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to company managers originating requests.
Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records.
Ensure supervised personnel comply with OSHA safety practices.


Position Requirements:

US Citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance or higher are preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required,
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, a plus
Minimum five (5) years’ experience participating in, coordinating, or supervising U.S. Military or government procurement support activities
Prior military or government experience directly related to the position preferred
Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Must pass drug screening.
