Localization Project Manager

at Pactera Edge in Liverpool

We are currently looking for a Localization Project Manager located in the UK to deliver and manage localization and translation projects.

Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with different translation agencies to deliver translation and localization for multiple launch projects.
-Preparation of Handoff to the vendor.
-Tracking of ongoing translation tasks.
-Verification of Hand back from the vendor.
-Query management.
-Escalation management.
-Tracking and reporting performance metrics.
-Consolidation of operations and LQA metrics.

Qualification and Requirements:
-3+ years of experience in localization.
-BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management.
-Thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc.
-Familiar with Ajuda and/or other Content Management Systems.
-Communication skills, experience to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
-Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications:
-Knowledge of additional languages other than English.
-Familiarity with Localization Environment and Tools.
-Experience working with a global team.
-Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well.
-Self-driven and ability to be both strategic and execution-oriented.

Project duration: 6 months (with possible extension).
