Restaurant Assistant Manager

at Jobisite in Georgia

Modena Ristorante is a premium casual dining spot located in the outskirts of downtown Marietta. We are searching for a reliable, hardworking assistant restaurant manager to supervise operations at our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Opening and closing the restaurant

Hire, supervise, train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Create staff schedule and assign tables

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

Ensure consistent quality of food, drinks, and overall guest experience

Responsible for the wine and beverage programs

Regularly review product quality and research new vendors

Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with hygiene, health and safety regulations/guidelines, and sanitation standards

Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

Manage restaurants good image and suggest ways to improve it

Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a restaurant.

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed

Extremely organized and detail-oriented

Familiar with point-of-sale computers and software

Comfortable using a computer, navigating Windows, Microsoft Office, and Outlook Email

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
