Construction Administrative Assistant

at Jobisite in New York

Construction Administrative Assistant Responsibilities :-
- Must have prior experience in providing administrative support to the office manager, project manager, general contractor, and other construction management staff
- Must have experience in answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails in a professional way
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors, and various construction services teams and solicit quotes from them for new jobs
- Must have experience in Executing clerical and general office duties such as setting up filing systems, data entry, typing, copying, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested
- Must have prior experience in handling A/R & A/P
Should be well versed with handling Payroll
- Must have QuickBooks knowledge
- Must know to prepare proposals, Contracts and follow up with clients on proposals,
- Must-Know how to prepare Requisitions and Change Orders
- Must have experience in Obtaining permits with the City (DOT/DOB/DEP etc.)

Construction Administrative Assistant Qualifications :-
- Must have 5 years of experience of administrative experience is needed - previous administrative duties in a busy construction office
- Must be familiar with the construction industry
- Must have excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are needed
- Must be proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Quickbooks)

Salary: Based on Experience
Working Hours: 40 Hrs / Week
