Here are some of the important things that you get to do:

Complete monthly closing tasks which include preparing journal entries for expense accruals, Inventory, prepaid amortization, allocations, and assets
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and applicable schedules to ensure accurate reporting
Reconcile Inventory
Bank Accounts (high volume of daily transactions)
Multiple Accrual Accounts
Compile and analyze financial information used in the preparation and distribution of financial reports
Assist with audit requests, including general audit inquiries, preparation of schedules/reports, testing of internal controls
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Develop reports derived from general ledger data to meet the analytical needs of company management
Maintain general ledger records and files
Protect the organization's values by securing and keeping the information confidential
