Role: Network Test Engineer

Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote is fine for initial time)

Mode: Contract

 


6-8 years of experience.
BS/MS in EE/CS or related fields plus 7/10 years of experience in one or
more of the following areas
Advance knowledge in Ethernet switching, IP routing protocols, network
management and security required
Experience in testing VLAN, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, Muti Chassis LAG, High
Availability, VXLAN and IGMP required
Experience in testing routing protocols ? BGP and OSPF, expertise in BFD,
IPv6, PIM
Experience in testing BGP eVPN for VXLAN data center interconnect
Strong test automation or programming skills in Perl/Python/Shell scripting
Strong server virtualization, Hypervisors(KVM, VMWare), OVS and Linux
operating system skills are required
Hands on experience with customer deployments and troubleshooting of L2/L3
networking products is needed
Experience in Redhat Openstack, Redhat Openshift and Kubernetes will be a
plus
Hands on experience with scale, performance and solution testing required
Ability to research, find and use third party test tools for various day to
day test activities is needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Candidate must be a self-starter, self-motivated and be able to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance and follow up.
