Kiliuda Consulting, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Database Administrator to support the DEA in El Paso, TX.



Qualified candidates will be expected to:



Provide database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems
Manage security on Microsoft SQL Server instances and Oracle 11g


Translate Oracle syntax to T-SQL and apply scripts to Microsoft SQL Server


Perform Backups and Restore procedures on Oracle 11g and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2012


Install database systems by developing diagrams, applying optimum access techniques, coordinating installation actions, documents actions


Analyze and optimize slow running queries


Review data and schema changes between releases


Maintain database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems


Works effectively as part of a team atmosphere to perform duties and achieve daily operational goals
Performs additional duties as needed within the department


Position Requirements:



US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED


Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Clearance; Active Secret preferred


Must be able to pass Agency Clearance


BS in Computer Science


One to Three years’ experience in Database Administration


Ability to understand Oracle RAC architecture
Ability to create ER diagrams to assist in data migrations


Proficiency with agile methodology


Analytical and programming experience with XML, Oracle and SQL


Experience with Red Hat and Linux systems


Thorough experience developing SSIS Packages for ETL for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012


High level of Database Administration expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Microsoft SQL Server 2016
