Kontak Recruitment is currently sourcing and recruiting on behalf of an Environmental Services company based in Honeydew Johannesburg who has an open job opportunity for a Shift Supervisor that will alternate between day shift and night shift, working hand in hand with the Fleet Manager, Team Leader and Technical Manager to oversee vehicle operations.

Requirements for Shift Supervisor:
Grade 12
Relevant Certification/qualification would be an advantage
Previous experience within fleet management/Vehicle operations/management

Duties and Responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor:
Oversee the vehicle operations ensuring that work schedule is completed and accurately delegated
Complete checklists to ensure that all necessary PPE, machinery, and documentation is allocated to each job/vehicle
Conduct vehicle inspections ensuring that all equipment returned match up with the checklist
Ensure that all completed documentation for the shift is handed over
Attend Toolbox Talks and Occupational Health and Safety discussions
Provide accurate incident reports
