Sales Manager

Daicel Safety Systems America is a world class manufacturing company seeking a qualified Sales Manager.

At Daicel, the successful Sales Manager will...

•Support strategic sales plans to accommodate department and corporate goals.
•Direct sales forecasting activities to support current and future budget years and mid-term plan.
•Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
•Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control the sales program.
•Assign customers or accounts to Account Managers.
•Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
•Deliver sales presentations to key customers.
•Meet with key stakeholders and negotiate and close deals.
•Act as liaison between the sales department and other business related units.
•Analyze and control division expenditures with an eye on the budget.
•Prepare sales reports showcasing sales volume, potential sales, and proposed customer based expansion.
•Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
•Monitor the sales team to ensure all policies, safety, legal and regulatory requirements are met.

The successful candidate will have...

•A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
•3-5 years of industry experience (manufacturing and/or automotive industry strongly preferred)

Per the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, all employees must be either U.S. citizens or Permanent Resident Card holders.
